Buying a New Home in Miami:What are the right steps. There are factors that could make it easier and faster, benefiting you and your pocket.
Finding a neighborhood that's right for you. Distance and traffic to and from work are ,in my opinion, some of the most important factors when deciding to move somewhere, of course the area has to be a good fit for you and your family. But you can have both for sure. That is what's great about Miami it has a great variety of neighborhoods to choose from. You can choose to live near the beach,or urban and high traffic areas, like Downtown/brickell, Edgewater and Midtown, or more suburban style, like Pinecrest, Kendall, Coral Gables, Doral, Miami lakes, North Miami, and/or a little further away Homestead and South Miami.
Considering how much money you would like to spend. That is why you need a great and knowledgeable financial advisor, since your purchase price will be mainly determined by this person when they pre-approve you. I believe that is a good practice to speak with an advisor now even if you are not thinking of buying just yet. Why? because if your credit is in bad shape they can guide you as to how to repair it and that takes time. So by the time that you are ready to make the purchase you will have a better credit and a better chance to get that dream home. Also, the consumer Bureaus are usually lower by 20-100 points than the mortgage credit score lenders use.
Thinking about what type of home you would like, does it need an update? sometimes is just reading between the lines, the home itself can look old and dated but if you can see the potential and good bones of it with just a few touch ups can make a world of difference. You can paint the outside or change the cabinets hardware or just boosting the curb appeal by adding some flowers and cleaning the driveway. Then it comes the location but that is the easy part, one of the many reasons people move to Miami is how diverse and how much you have to choose from. From the beach, to the tall skyscrapers in Brickell and downtown, the colonial style homes in Coral Gables, the lively and bright little havana, and so much more everywhere you go.
Deciding when you want to make your move, sometimes there are time management skills that are necessary in order to benefit from it. A good agent will make sure this time frames are met in order to bring the best service and what is most convenient to you.
